Description:
The Program in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (REEES) at Smith College invites applications for a half-time (0.5 FTE) benefits eligible position at the rank of Lecturer for the academic year 2025-2026 (to begin July 1, 2025). The successful candidate will teach three courses, which include at least one course in Russian language, a First-Year seminar on a topic in the candidate's field of specialization or academic interest, and a third course to be determined. PhD, ABD, or an equivalent combination of education and teaching experience in Slavic Languages and Literatures, Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies, or another relevant field is expected by the time of appointment.
