VISITING FACULTY POSITION IN ANALYTICS AND OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
The Freeman College of Management at Bucknell University seeks a full-time visiting faculty member (non-tenure track) qualified to teach undergraduate courses in one or more areas of business analytics, quantitative modeling, and/or operations management. The appointment will start in August 2025 and last for up to three academic years (August 2025 - May 2028).
The Freeman College, an AACSB-accredited unit, offers innovative professional education in the context of one of the nation's leading liberal arts universities. We believe an education combining technical skills and deep intellectual exploration is the best preparation for thoughtful and capable leaders. Thus, we seek faculty members capable of contributing to this mission. We also embrace the teacher-scholar model. Although visiting faculty are not required to engage in research, we genuinely appreciate those who contribute thoughtfully to both teaching and scholarship in their fields. The teaching load for visiting faculty members is six classes per year. After the first year, visiting faculty members will join all other faculty in sharing student advising responsibilities.
A record of excellence in undergraduate teaching is required. Qualified candidates will have completed or be near completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree (DBA, ScD). Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
