Position Description
Performs semi-professional work on various projects and programs. Work is performed under supervision within established policies with latitude for independent judgment. Employee performance is based upon a review of completed work and overall results obtained. May supervise specialized clerical section.

Major/Essential Functions

Manage all shipping and receiving for the SVM
Enter and track all incoming freight
Distribute all freight received to proper locations throughout the SVM
Coordinate deliveries between the two campus locations
Coordinate shipping invoices/packing slips with business office
Manage TTU inventory system and submit annual inventory certification to TTU Property Management
Ship surplus items to TTU Lubbock
Management outgoing UPS and FedEx shipments
Able to work with freight dolly and pallet jack
Routinely lift 50 pounds or more independently
Standing most of the day and moving throughout building
Fleet management/fleet reservation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Communicate and work well with faculty, staff, and students
Be self-motivated and able to maintain efficiency while working independently
Ability to problem solve independently

Required Qualifications
High school plus four years experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a shipping and receiving environment.
