Job Summary:

This position oversees and supports the building proctor program through daily inspections for quality assurance for Custodial Services in the assigned facilities and provides the labor force necessary to keep a safe and sanitary work environment and assist in the proper and timely set ups for functions at the Anschutz Medical Campus.

Supervisor for 4 full-time General Labor employees including performing all required steps of the performance management and progressive discipline processes in a timely manner. The position has functioned as a lead for several years and it is in the best interest of the department to have more direct supervision and a manageable number of FTE's under this position and other supervisory positions in this area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts daily inspections and documents assigned areas to ensure the quality and level of custodial services are being met.
  • Performs custodial duties as needed to re-stock paper goods, emergency cleanups, assists in snow removal.
  • Supervises building proctors.
  • Coordinates and monitors the document shredding program
  • Participates and assists in emergencies based on the magnitude and nature.
  • Supports various special events both in preparation and during the event.

Work Location:

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of experience as a custodial lead/supervisor or similar role.

Colorado law requires that candidates for state government jobs be residents of Colorado at the time of application.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Conditions of Employment:
  • H.S. diploma or GED equivalent

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as:

$4,154 - $4,818 per month.

The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

If you have prior state-classified service in the same class series as this position, your pay may be set at a higher amount per the state Step Pay Program implemented on July 1, 2024.
