Employee Services provides the CU community with excellent services from recruitment to retirement. This office provides technical expertise while administering benefits, professional development, payroll, individual tax management, and strategic HR programs. The functional areas of Employee Services include Payroll, Technologies, Benefits, Retirement, Financial Education, Learning and Development, International Tax and Human Resources.
Position Summary:
This position requires a dynamic, applicant tracking system (ATS) expert with higher education process knowledge and awareness of applicant tracking solutions in the marketplace to accommodate faculty, staff, and student recruiting requirements.
The role requires a recruitment technology and talent acquisition expert to capture requirements, to assess current state and act as a liaison to our campus partners, as well as University Information Systems (UIS). This role will provide system analysis, requirements definition, conduct strategic focus groups, communicate and provide executive updates, and coordinate a request for proposal for the University of Colorado to guide them through an ATS replacement project.
This role requires extensive knowledge of system integrations, the recruitment lifecycle, and HR processes within higher education. This position will lead all aspects of the selection of a new tool and help develop consistent and accurate documentation of system processes, integration needs, and security provisioning. This role will actively consult and partner with multiple Campus HR representatives to support recruiting and position management technology needs while upholding best practices and providing strategic influence and guidance to improve recruiting needs across the university.
This position reports to the HR Business Systems Program Director of Employee Services and is exempt from the State of Colorado Classified Staff system.

Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
ATS Vendor Assessment and Management:
- Is responsible for vendor management, assessment, and selection in partnership with all four CU campuses.
- Verify integrations with recruiting technology vendors such as LinkedIn, HireRight, SkillSurvey, and others.
- Act as the main liaison between vendors and campus partners.
- Assist with ATS security role provisioning and reviewing user roles and access to maintain and uphold system security policies.
Technology Assessment and Ownership:
- Evaluate, assess, comprehend, and coordinate data integrations between HCM and ATS.
- Gather and document business requirements.
- Post implementation awareness and responsibility for managing and presenting system changes, enhancements, outages, and upgrade impacts to users.
- Expertise in reporting requirements and responsible for building, provisioning, and refining queries and reports.
- Support campus leads and provide expert guidance in troubleshooting as the subject matter expert.
- Initiates escalation procedures for incidents based on the agreed upon service level agreements and tracks tickets to closure.
- Collaborate with internal CU System technical teams to review specifications, and conducts fit/gap analysis and design sessions.
- Assist with ATS security role provisioning and reviewing user roles and access to maintain and uphold system security policies.
- Manage CU Business Partners and vendor relationships with onboarding activities to ensure successful implementation of new systems.
Campus Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with the Campus HR community including, recruiting and position management subject matter experts and contributors.
- Connect and communicate with Campus HR and department users regularly by scheduling and facilitating focus groups and status calls and reports regarding project status and ongoing support.
- Provide guidance and expertise on ATS functionality and strategize and make recommended process improvements.
- Provide knowledge transfer to support teams before any production releases.
- Works closely with HRIS and ES teams by providing knowledge transfer to progress tickets to resolution and recommends additional development based on needs.
- Apply higher education recruiting business processes, product and functional best practices, and related technology trends to consult and guide campuses toward the appropriate HR technology solutions.
- Review new business processes and solution designs to ensure that cross-functional teams fully understand the impact of decisions made during a system configuration.
Project Coordination and Documentation/Training Support:
- Acts as ATS project lead, including requirements gathering from campus partners.
- Develops testing documentation and perform appropriate user acceptance testing activities.
- Works closely with ES training specialists to ensure quality of step-by-step guides and module resources.
- Communicates changes, make recommendations, and strategize new and current business processes.

Salary: The anticipated hiring range has been established at $103,000-$106,000.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Please ensure your resume includes any and all relevant experience to be accurately assessed against these qualifications. You must meet all minimum requirements listed at the time of application to be considered for this role.- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field from accredited college or university (work experience can be substituted on year-for-year basis for education).
- Five (5) years of experience managing technical ATS support or implementing HR business applications, preferably in a higher education environment.
- Two (2) years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a higher education environment, with strong knowledge of the recruitment lifecycle and processes, or direct experience working as a recruiter.
Preferred Qualifications:- Seven (7) years' professional experience implementing HR business applications.
- One (1) year of experience in a team lead or supervisory role, which may include assigning and reviewing the work of others, providing guidance to internal and external team members, and/or assisting management with performance reviews (this requirement may be substituted by formal leadership training).
- Current employee in Higher Education.
- Experience with multi-campus institutions.
- Experience working with State and Federal labor laws and regulations.
- Experience creating and maintaining relationships across multiple teams and departments, including executive relationships.
