Job Summary
Responsible for providing direct support in the development and management of policies and procedures related to the disposition of Augusta University faculty as determined by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Monitors academic positions at the institution for the application of pay policies and procedures to ensure consistency and full compliance with BOR policies.
Responsibilities
Organize and manage the faculty recruitment process on all faculty vacancies, recruitment process and subsequent appointment of qualified applicant.
Oversees the post tenure review process and prepares appropriate letter to faculty to initiate the review process.
Responsible for the accurate and timely data entered in a HRMS of all faculty actions in keeping with institutional and BOR policy.
Manages and implements the faculty contract preparation and distribution process.
Provide guidance to institutional leadership
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in working with sensitive and confidential employee data.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Coordinate the appointment process of faculty to special faculty titles and the tracking and monitoring of the overall appointment criteria.
Develops the mechanism in a faculty information system to manage information on faculty assigned to approved centers and/or institutes.
Coordinates institutional recruitment information on all faculty vacancies to prepare reports for senior leadership.
Develops and manages an automated process for time in rank for promotion and tenure to facilitate the process for implementation at the school and departmental level.
Reviews and recommends appropriate changes for promotion and tenure track process and implementation of guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and four years of HR experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree is a plus and additional years similar experience and/or HR Certification from SHRM.

Pay Plan: B15
Salary Minimum: $82,800.00/year
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.
