Job Title: Graduate Programs Coordinator

Job Summary:
Under the guidance and direction of the Director of Research Administration and the Graduate Programs Administrator, this position will provide coordination and support to prospective students and current students of the following degree programs: Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Outcomes Research, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Toxicology and Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The position will support program specific goals by working closely with Directors, Managers, Supervisors, and Mentors concerning policy and procedures, and through the development of effective working relationships with other departments such as the Graduate School, Procurement, and external entities. This position will provide administrative support to Graduate Program Administration and will coordinate a variety of special projects as assigned.
Additionally, this position will assist in planning and coordinating all aspects of applicant and enrolled student support. Conference and travel support, generating all necessary paperwork and data tracking for Grad School and accrediting body approval; working closely with Directors and contractors to follow policies and procedures to ensure all conferences are in compliance with University policies. Work with Faculty to ensure compliance to digital accessibility rules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acts as first point of contact for prospective students, coordinates recruitment and new student onboarding.
- Coordinates program wide events such as orientation, recruitment event, townhalls, retreats, symposia, team building, graduation, defenses, luncheons, etc.
- Maintains accurate records of student milestones, maintains alumni records, and provides documentation for program accreditation and other purposes.
- Coordinates travel arrangements for students for research conferences and processes procurement expenses and reimbursements.
- Assists Faculty with Digital Accessibility of course materials.
- Support the process of obtaining course information, evaluations, and syllabi each semester.
Work Location:
Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a higher education setting.
- Experience supporting student-based programs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $42,000 - $50,000.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
