Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Project Management and Operations, the Project Manager plays a key role in advancing the institution €™s mission and vision through proficient project management to maximize resources and insure project accuracy.



Collaborating closely with stakeholders across various teams, the Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, tracking and delivery of multifaceted marketing projects that amplify the university's brand presence and engage diverse audiences.



In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, the Project Manager will serve as a champion for innovation, driving forward-thinking strategies that elevate the university's reputation and impact in the most efficient way possible.



Essential Functions

  • Leads cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, storytellers, strategists, and others to successfully deliver projects from initiation to closure.

  • Develops comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with goals of the project.

  • Monitors project progress, tracking key milestones and budget expenditures, and proactively addresses any deviations from the plan.

  • Takes an active role in the introduction, implementation and ongoing adoption of project management tools, processes and technologies to support streamlined workflows, enhance communication, and facilitate collaboration inside and outside of the division.

  • Identifies project risks and develops mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure successful project delivery.

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for partners across the University, maintaining regular communication to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or changes in project scope.

  • Supports fostering a collaborative team environment, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

  • Conducts post-project reviews to evaluate performance, identify lessons learned, and implement process improvements for future projects.

  • Leads status meetings and demonstrates the ability to clearly and succinctly build meeting recaps.

  • Helps to build roadmaps, SLAs and best practices within the overall marketing and creative process.

  • Drives communication with internal and external vendors on a variety of projects, events and launches.

Guides work of other employees who perform essentially the same work and/or student workers. Organizes, sets priorities, schedules and reviews work, but is generally not responsible for final decisions in hiring, performance management or compensation.



Required Qualifications: Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience managing complex projects in a marketing or creative agency environment.




Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills

  • Understanding and experience with modern and agile project management methodologies.

  • Analytical skills to evaluate and implement effective project management tools and technologies.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects on time and within budget.

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Deep knowledge of creative processes and the ability to communicate clear deadlines in an empathetic manner.

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of editorial and design functions within a Marketing setting.

  • Experience in introducing new workflow management tools like Monday.com or Asana to an organization and a strong understanding of digital asset management tools.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale marketing campaigns across multiple teams and functions.

  • Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.




Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or Scrum Master certification




Minimum Starting Salary: $80,000



Maximum Starting Salary: $90,000



Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
