Job Title: HR Business Intelligence (BI)/Smartsheet Project Manager

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for development and implementation of a Smartsheet infrastructure for the Human Resources/Academic Affairs mission of the Department of Pediatrics, one of the largest academic units on the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. This position works directly with Department HR/AA leadership to ensure that project deliverables fall within the applicable scope and timeline. Coordinates with Department stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are compatible, prepares and presents progress reports, and ensures that projects further organizational goals. In addition, this position will assist HR/AA team and DOP leadership in assessing data sources and processes to provide and analyze data to provide metrics related to HR and Academic Affairs activities for the Department. The Department of Pediatrics has approximately 1,800-1,900 faculty and staff at any given time.

This position is responsible for using standard Project Management techniques (e.g., identifying stakeholders, conducting stakeholder meetings, creating project timelines, etc.), developing user guides, providing training, and being available as a Subject Matter Expert for Smartsheet and other data platforms used by the HR/AA Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain Smartsheet templates, workflows, and dashboards to help the HR/AA team streamline processes, improve efficiency, and increase productivity.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize Smartsheet solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide technical support to end-users for Smartsheet-related issues.
  • This is a Smartsheet Administrator and Developer role that involves conducting the analysis, design, programming, evaluation, testing, and implementation of a complete Smartsheet solution for Project Tracking and Resource Management.
  • Work with the Data Team in University Central HR to assess metrics and reports available through University Tableau.
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify relevant data and modify search parameters to provide key metrics identified by Department leadership.

Work Location:

Remote – this role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Human Resources operations. *
  • One to two (1-2) years of experience with Smartsheet development and implementation. *

A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

Anticipated Pay Range:

The hiring range for this position has been established as $61,642 to $78,408.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
