Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Development Coordinator provides mission-critical support to the engagement and philanthropic efforts of the Annual Giving team.
Job Description
The Development Coordinator is responsible for administrative support for the Annual Giving Program:
- Represent Penn Law to constituents as first point of contact, answering phones, responding as appropriate, and directing calls to others as required, ensuring follow-up in a timely manner. Prepare original and draft copies of correspondence to donors and others.
- Process and coordinate all direct mail solicitations. Order lists from reports, produce mailings in-house and/or coordinate with mail house.
- Design and execute all e-mail solicitations. Order Lists from reports.
- Design and post Annual Giving content on Law School Facebook and Instagram pages
- Manage all record-keeping for the Annual Giving Program; ensure timely entry of data into appropriate data bases. Manage processes for data retrieval, reporting and data manipulation.
- Produce monthly reports
- Work with vendors to create and ensure adequate supplies of branded items for Reunion Weekend and alumni gifts. Maintain an array of supplies (forms, office supplies, etc.) to ensure Annual Giving work is completed in a timely manner.
- Work with the Associate Director of Giving on 3L Class Giving Campaign.
- Coordinate the distribution of Class Agent and Reunion materials (informational mailings, solicitation letters and manuals).
- Handle special projects and additional duties as assigned by the Director of Annual Giving.
Qualifications
- HS and 5 years of experience; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of two to three years of administrative experience in an office environment, preferably in development and/or higher education.
- Knowledge and experience with data base systems and software packages especially in Windows environment.
- Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or similar design program preferable.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize tasks and priorities, and to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to take initiative and assume responsibility for support functions.
- Ability to work in small office environment with team approach.
