Job Summary
The Maintenance Coordinator - Recreation is responsible for supervising and directing all aspects of daily operations pertaining to equipment and facility maintenance. This position will ensure the timely completion of tasks and projects across multiple sites and units within CRI, including the Recreation Activity Center, MC Anderson Park, Shooting Sports Education Center, and the Golf Course Clubhouse. In addition to overseeing day-to-day building maintenance operations, this role involves managing facilities service orders to guarantee the delivery of maintenance, groundskeeping, and custodial services.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and supervise student workers
- Perform general maintenance tasks at indoor/outdoor recreation facilities including: routine and preventative maintenance and repairs for designated building, facilities, and equipment ensuring technical operations are in proper running order; Coordinate inspection, maintenance and repairs of mechanical equipment, and buildings, along with general cleaning and upkeep
- Coordinate and perform maintenance and repairs for all fitness center machines and equipment
- Supports recreation programming through field and court set-ups for various programs inside and outside to include portable fences, bleachers, stages, chairs, etc
- Develop and administer policies and procedures for facility security and systems including electronic access control, key management, Fireworks Door Security
- Serve as a point of contact for any departmental maintenance or renovation projects
- Manage semester and annual maintenance projects and lifecycles of equipment
- Coordinates daily, weekly, monthly, annual inspection audits of all facilities
- Manage the departmental asset control/inventory records
- Provide monthly/semester administrative reports as requested on work orders/equipment
- Administer daily Metasys HVAC needs for the Recreation Activity Center
- Maintain and utilize risk management best practices
- Assist with department and/or facility special events
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
- Five (5) or more years of related work experience or One (2) or more years of formal post-secondary technical education/training can be substituted for experience
Proposed Salary
$20.71 - $25.48 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
