In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.

Job Summary
Position provides administrative support to various college administrators. Position incumbent will be relied on to provide accurate data, manage a multitude of tasks as well as assist in the execution of various short, medium and long term projects as deemed necessary to carry out the mission of the College and University.

Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with diverse units and personalities within the University.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
- Good computer skills necessary to set up document formats in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and any other software program required by this position.
- Organizational skills necessary to prioritize workload to meet long and short-term deadlines.
- Flexibility in job assignments to meet departmental priorities and emerging or unplanned initiatives.
- Ability to handle detail-oriented assignments with accuracy and consistency, with minimal supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to interact effectively with administration, faculty, staff, and students is a top priority.
- Ability to effectively utilize distance communication technologies (video/web conferencing) to accomplish tasks.

Required Qualifications
1. Education: Associate of Arts degree and/or combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education.
2. Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years experience in administrative/clerical or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelors degree
2. Experience: 3-5 years experience, experience coordinating complex, large-scale projects and student centered university setting
