The Student Health & Psychological Services (SH&PS) at California State University Dominguez Hills invites applications from individuals for a Tenure Track, Full-time, 12-Month position in the Student Health & Psychological Services (SH&PS).

Responsibilities
Provides individual and group psychological counseling/therapy, clinical assessment, case management, and crisis intervention services to a diverse university student population. Designs and implements psychoeducational programs and outreach activities for the campus community, including students, faculty and staff, campus organizations, related academic departments, and student services units. Provides consultation services for faculty and staff. Provides supervision for psychology trainees and assists in facilitating training activities. Participates in case consultation and in-service training programs with all counseling staff. Works with medical staff in student health services in a collaborative approach to mental health care delivery. Initiates and maintains relationships with other campus departments and off-campus agencies to affect cooperative working relationships. May perform some counseling-related administrative duties. Engages in university service through participation in campus committees and activities. Maintains updated knowledge of legal, ethical and professional issues related to counseling and psychotherapy. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Student Health & Psychological Services (SH&PS)
Student Health & Psychological Services provides medical and counseling services to the student population at CSUDH. The Student Health Center is staffed by physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, clinical assistants, and a health educator who provide basic outpatient services for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and subacute illnesses and injuries. The Student Psychological Services is staffed by licensed psychologists and psychological trainees who provide individual and group counseling, campus outreach, and faculty & staff consultation. The Student Psychological Services is also staffed by a psychiatrist who provides psychiatric services.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed Psychologist in the State of California with a doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology. Demonstrated ability to provide psychological services (clinical assessment, crisis intervention, brief therapy) to college students on personal/interpersonal issues, multicultural issues, developmental concerns, and the full range of mental health disorders).
Experience counseling students from diverse age, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications
Licensed psychologist in the State of California with three years of counseling experience involving clinical experience with an adult multicultural population.
Experience providing psychological services in a college or university counseling center. Previous experience providing training/supervision and consultation to less experienced professionals. Experience providing specialized programing for a college age population. Demonstrates leadership within a multidisciplinary team.
